Chatter

This fresh comedy is not only a crowd pleaser, but also a timely and relevant reflection of contemporary South Africa. Although the play is essentially a romantic comedy – and will, for this reason, be accessible particularly to the youth – it doesn’t shy away from examining issues which concern not only South African, but also British society today.

The Source (or Orange Sunshine)

This film is the result of a concoction of ideas that originally came from a novel "Tapping The Source" by Kem Nunn, after making enquiry to the William Morris Agency to the film rights and finding they are not available, I proceeded to write something from scratch.

This story is currently set in Huntington Beach, as is 'Tapping The Source', however from there I intend to totally veer away from the fictional inspiration and build on a foundation of historical events and fact. Major story elements and characters are drawn from the very real underground movement known as The Brotherhood of Eternal Love and various urban surf culture myths.

A coming of age journey immersed in the surf, drug and rock 'n roll sub culture of Southern California in the early 1970's. As the long haired, laid back, dope smoking hippies on longboards give way to the aggressive, adrenaline fueled punks tearing up the surf on shortboards, LSD is appearing on the scene in large quantities for the first time in history.

Under the sleepy surf town of Huntington Beach lays a dark and disturbing secret that is slowly spinning a sticky web across the town, state and nation entangling anyone who ventures near.

The Right Stuff

“The Right Stuff”, a rags to riches drama based on the true story of one man's rise from obscurity as a jazz musician to power as the owner of three Las Vegas casinos just as the mob were moved out. This story documents the continuing history of Vegas after Scorses’s “Casino”, plotting the rise and subsequent demise of Las Vegas's family owned and run businesses as the multi-billion dollar mega resorts eclipsed the old Las Vegas. Ironically, after becoming the fastest growing city in the United States, Las Vegas is currently experiencing the most severe recession since the town’s unlikely inception.
